The reclamation of a little-used sliver of downtown Bend spelled a public "pocket" park for the Bend Community. Paving bricks and plaques sold to raise funds for the park were incorporated into the design, along with various outdoor themes reflective of Central Oregon's natural beauty. The result is an urban retreat popular with locals and tourists alike.
