Worthy Brewing

A 28,000 square foot facility situated on nearly 3 acres on the east side of Bend, Oregon. The complex includes a production brewhouse, administration offices, restaurant, bier garten, hop garden, and greenhouse for hops varietal research. 75% of the facility's power is solar generated, production generated wastewater is treated on site, and the building's abundant natural light reduces daytime reliance on artificial light sources. Although a large and essentially industrial building, design treatments have been employed to reduce the building's apparent scale and impart design interest to otherwise mundane facades. Large expanses of restaurant and brewhouse west facing glass not only admit welcome natural light but open vistas past the bier garten to Cascades vistas.
