Neal Huston formed the firm of Neal Huston & Associates Architects Inc. (NHA) in 1988 after twelve years as a partner in three previous professional design offices. The firm has a strong design emphasis but also prides itself in the quality of its production performance. Past projects have included a range of commercial and industrial uses as well as multi-family and single-family custom residential designs.

Since its inception NHA has focused on creating high quality design which meets or exceeds the client’s expectations and the functional requirements established by the project program. Besides addressing a variety of project types, the firm’s past projects have successfully represented the broad range of architectural styles requested by clients.

In additional to proving full-service architectural design for a broad range of building types, NHA provides space planning, interior design, master planning, 3D modeling and sustainable design expertise.

Our Team

NHA has been in existence in it's current form since 1988. The most junior staff member has been with the firm nearly 20 years; the average term of service of the combined staff is 24 years. In addition to architectural design, NHA staff proficiencies include arctic engineering, daylighting, interior design, digital imaging, computer modeling, photography, print making, graphic design and the understanding of sustainability as it relates to building design and construction.

With its long history of team collaboration the NHA staff has developed both efficiency and a high level of quality in the delivery of services from pre-design through the completion of project construction.
