Strictly Organic Coffee
Located in the Old Mill Marketplace, this building's exterior hints at the bygone era of the lumber mill days, while the interior features numerous green elements such as bamboo counters for the cafe. The height of the building is brought down to the pedestrian scale with it's use of windows and awnings. 2,512 square feet.
Old Bend Firehall
This historic downtown fire station's restoration resulted in maintaining much of its original architectural elements and early 20th Century character. Reuse of existing brickwork, wooden beams, the fireplace, and even the fire pole merges with the new mixed used additions - a restaurant, retail space, and six condos. However, we're not sure if the rumors of Dalmatians moving in are true. 24,238 square feet.
US Bank, Century Drive
A neighborhood bank branch located along Bend’s Century Drive. The facility has been awarded LEED Silver certification; it is one nine US Bank facilities nationwide and one of the few bank buildings in Central Oregon to receive LEED certification. The branch was the first in the state of Oregon to achieve the Silver designation. The design responds to US Bank’s commitment to environmentally sound business practices while at the same time successfully contributes to the pedestrian focus of the surrounding neighborhood. 3,100 square feet.
Bank of the Cascades, Sunriver
Bank of the Cascades' Sunriver satellite branch not only integrates structure with existing Sunriver Mall architecture, but also reflects the rustic charm of the area to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. This project was also a design winner in the 1998 Building a Better Central Oregon awards. 2,330 square feet.
